The Baby Café charity coordinates a network of breastfeeding drop-in centres and other services to support breastfeeding mothers across the UK and other parts of the world.
No appointment needed
All pregnant or breastfeeding mums are welcome to drop in at any time during opening hours. You can bring your partner too. Baby Café drop-in centres are generally open once a week and set out with coffee tables, comfy sofas and play areas for accompanying toddlers. Locations vary from church halls and community room to children's centres
Run by trained staff
Baby Café drop-ins are run by health professionals such as midwives, health visitors, or lactation consultants. Baby Café Local drop-ins may be run by healthcare practitioners (e.g. healthcare assistant, nursery nurse or maternity support worker) or breastfeeding counsellors from the voluntary breastfeeding organisations.
