Baby Cafe and Baby Café Local |
|
We want to make the Baby Café model accessible to more mums than ever so we're currently piloting a new service—Baby Café Local.
So what's the difference?
When you visit one of our drop-ins you won't notice any difference—you can expect all of them to be run to the same high standards.
But whilst a standard Baby Café drop-in will be run by a health professional (e.g. health visitor, midwife or lactation consultant), a Baby Café Local drop-in is run by a health practitioner (e.g. healthcare assistant, nursery nurse or maternity support worker) or breastfeeding counsellor from one of the voluntary breastfeeding organisations. Opening times may also differ.
The table below provides more information and may be useful for anyone interested in setting up a Baby Café or Baby Café Local service.
