News from Cobridge Baby Café
COBRIDGE BABY CAFÉ is run by health professionals and peer supporters. In addition to providing breastfeeding help and support, we also supply reduced cost breast pumps for mums in the Stoke-on-Trent area.
THE MUM2MUM PROJECT trains women who have breastfed to become peer supporters. If any mum from the Stoke-on-Trent area would like to be put in contact with a peer supporter, or would like to volunteer to undertake peer supporter training, they can contact the number above.
ON 13TH MAY 2004 we held an event for expectant parents at Cobridge Community Centre about infant feeding. There were presentations by peer supporters, plus a variety of stalls, including nursing bras, an aromatherapist, NCT and car safety.
ON 9TH DECEMBER we had our Mum2Mum Christmas party attended by more than 101 people! Parents and children enjoyed the novelty of some visiting snakes and lizards! We also has pass the parcel (for mums and babies), craft activities and of course food.
