Edlington Baby Café opens to mums

Here are the pictures of the Edlington Baby Cafe opening
party. It was held on 1st February 2006 and was great fun. Thanks to
everyone for supporting the project so far.

Those in attendance were mainly local mums and
babies, and also representatives from Doncaster PCTs, Surestart, Surestart
Plus, the Primary Health Care team, and staff from The Children's
Centre. Local radio Trax FM provided extensive coverage of
the event and The Doncaster Free Press sent a photographer.

|
The author Gervase Phinn kindly attended the launch
and declared it officially open. He delighted the guests by sharing
his own amusing poetry and donating books to the mothers and the
staff of The Children's Centre.

|
The cakes were provided by Jane Hughes of The Townhouse
Tea Rooms in Bawtry and were enjoyed by all. The Baileys cheesecake was
the favourite! |
