What's going on at Westgate Baby Café

"THE SURE START Westgate Baby Café is not only there to provide practical advice and support on breastfeeding, it's also a perfect way for mothers or pregnant women to meet new friends in a relaxed and friendly environment," says Sharon Jones, Sure Start Westgate Midwife.  Mothers are invited to come along to access information and support on all areas of breastfeeding from specific challenges like getting started, illness and premature birth, to returning to work while still breastfeeding, ending breastfeeding and starting to wean.

THE 9TH BABY CAFÉ to open in the UK, Westgate Baby Café plans to provide La Leche League Peer Counsellor training to mothers experienced in breastfeeding to enable them to support new breastfeeding mothers.
